Fusion

• Fusion 4.5, released March 27, 2024. Dry matter and ration inclusion protections, fully closed lots, importing of animals, a new Pen Health Oversight report and a whole lot more. This is a big one!
• Fusion 4.4, released April 14, 2023. Month End Lock, support for multiple tag readers, Ration Info Report, and more. And, of course, bug fixes.
• Fusion 4.3, released November 11, 2022. Easy Automation micro machine integration, new built-in yard sheet reports, more fields in the Lot Info Export, and bug fixes.
• Fusion 4.2, released May 26, 2022. APEC micro machine integration, carcass adjusted values, more fields in the Lot Info Export, and bug fixes.
• Fusion 4.1.1, released December 2, 2021. A few bug fixes related to CCIA uploads, chuteside job stacks, slow syncing, and Comco machines.
• Fusion 4.1, released August 20, 2021. Integration with automed and Te Pari dosing guns and Cattle Tech's new revolution counter added. Also better integration with CCIA for Canadian customers and lots of bug fixes for everyone.
• Fusion 4.0.2, released November 12, 2020. Oops! 4.0.1 introduced a new bug. This one fixes it.
• Fusion 4.0.1, released November 7, 2020. Fixes a few important bugs.
• Fusion 4.0, released October 29, 2020. The biggest new feature in this version is the new Morbidity Insights window. Several other reporting and other enhancements have been made along with several bug fixes.
• Fusion 3.9, released March 13, 2020. Fusion has been updated to continue working with CCIA after changes they have made which are implemented for March 31, 2020. The Lot Info Export (Generation 2) upload is also more robust than it was before.
• Fusion 3.8.2, released December 9, 2019. Windows signing, macOS Catalina compatibility, and a fix for an invoice printing bug are the main things in this release.
• Fusion 3.8.1, released November 8, 2019. Fixes several bugs.
• Fusion 3.8, released August 30, 2019. This version brings a 5x speed improvement when generating lot information and printing customer invoices. We've also completely revamped the tax handling system, moving from a tax formula system to a tax rate system.
• Fusion 3.7, released May 6, 2019. Feeding protocols are the major feature in this version.
• Fusion 3.6.1, released July 19, 2018. Reduced pricing for locations with "inventory-only" head as well as several important bug fixes.
• Fusion 3.6, released May 26, 2018. Integration with Micro Technologies micro machines comes to Fusion in this version. A number of bugs related to cohort editing have also been fixed.
• Fusion 3.5.1, released September 28, 2017. Fixes an important bug that can manifest itself when editing cohorts in certain situations.
• Fusion 3.5, released May 16, 2017. This version brings in and out cohort editing, the ability to capture lung scores, expanded Lot Info Export capabilities, and more.
• Fusion 3.4.1, released October 31, 2016. CCIA changed their server infrastructure last week, causing Fusion to stop being able to age verify or handle move in and other events. This version fixes this problem.
• Fusion 3.4, released October 14, 2016. Fusion now has the ability to work with a new feeding style where a loader mixes rations into several feed boxes which are then dumped into trucks for delivery.
• Fusion 3.3, released May 9, 2016. The major feature of this version is the Emergency Chuteside Mode which allows you to finish a job on a chuteside computer if the network goes down.
• Fusion 3.2, released December 22, 2015. This version introduces Feed Guard and Delivery Guide, two features which rely on the GPS in a truck to help the feed person make fewer mistakes. Fusion is now fully compatible Windows 10 and Mac OS X 10.11. Bugs fixes and other features, including some help in ensuring that all feed is billed out properly, are also in this version.
• Fusion 3.1, released September 22, 2015. The main feature for this version is the audit trail for feed trucks which includes the ability to track a truck's location if you have a GPS device connected.
• Fusion 3.0, released April 24, 2015. This version comes with a projections calculator and some new reports. There is also a new window where you can submit and vote on feature requests to help drive the direction of Fusion. Because of extensive internal changes regarding the upgrade procedure, upgrading to this version is a manual process that requires Fusion Installer 3.5 on each computer.
• Fusion 2.9.1, released September 22, 2014. Important bug fixes for the Bulk Lock Inventory window.
• Fusion 2.9, released September 15, 2014. This version is all about documentation. Fusion is now fully documented, both on the website and from within Fusion itself. General documentation is easily accessible and each window has a help button which will take you directly to the specific documentation for that window.
• Fusion 2.8, released May 12, 2014. Fusion can now control a Comco micro machine to easily add micros to a load. For chuteside, Fusion can now control an automatic sorting gate during a job. We've also added documentation to all of the list windows in Fusion. There are several other new features and several important bug fixes.

• Fusion 2.7, released December 27, 2013. With this version you can create your own Heads Up Displays for use during a chuteside job. Feeding has been enhanced to make it easier to handle small ingredients. Also, changes have been made to handle multiple pass feeding in a much smoother way. The Lot Center detail print reporting has significant changes which set the foundation for moving invoices to the Lot Center window. Besides several other small enhancements and bug fixes, this version brings compatibility to Windows 8.1 and Mac OS X Mavericks.

  We have had a few reports of computers showing an error that says, in part, "prntvpt.dll not found" when trying to launch Fusion 2.7. This is actually a Microsoft bug where one of the files Fusion expects Windows to provide is not there. You can fix the issue by running a small installer from Microsoft. Click here for the direct link to the installer. Alternatively, you can visit the Microsoft support article to learn more. After running the installer you should be able to launch Fusion like normal. Restarting the computer is not necessary.

• Fusion 2.6, released July 8, 2013. This is a major upgrade that touches several areas. List windows have enhanced functionality. More windows have help buttons. Manual feed entry and the ability to precisely add small amounts of ingredients have been added. Animals can now move to different lots and retain their history. The biggest changes have to do with chuteside which has almost completely been rewritten.
• Fusion 2.5.1, released July 31, 2012. Mostly bug fixes.
• Fusion 2.5, released May 22, 2012. Several things were added and fixed in this release. Probably the biggest is the ability to edit and delete in and out cohorts easily. Also, Fusion Server is now a 64-bit application.
• Fusion 2.4.2, released February 23, 2012. Small enhancements and bug fixes.
• Fusion 2.4.1, released February 3, 2012. Added the Grid Edit window and fixed bugs.
• Fusion 2.4, released December 22, 2011. Many new fields have been added throughout Fusion. Rearranging of events has happened making it easier to see what has happened. Many other enhancements.
• Fusion 2.3, released May 8, 2011. This version brings several changes, the largest of which is better list window functionality. List windows are now fully customizable, you can open the same window multiple times, and you can have child windows. The scale system code was completely rewritten and includes the ability to connect to a new device called a DSI.
• Fusion 2.2, released December 31, 2010. Many server related changes for optimization.
• Fusion 2.1, released November 3, 2010. Small enhancements. Added debugging tools and fixed bugs.
• Fusion 2.0.5, released August 13, 2010. Enhanced bunk call graph and various other small improvements and bug fixes.
• Fusion 2.0, released June 25, 2010. Several small enhancements including optimization over slow networks. Fusion Cubed has been renamed Fusion Truck.

Fusion Installer

• Fusion Installer 4.1 (build 102), released May 5, 2024. Completely rewritten to prepare the way for OneDrive and DropBox compatibility in Fusion.
• Fusion Installer 4.0, released March 12, 2020. Compatible with installing Fusion 3.9 and greater. Properly signed on Windows and signed and notarized on Mac.
• Fusion Installer 3.9.1, released November 19, 2019. Fixes a crash that occurs on some Windows computers on launch.
• Fusion Installer 3.9, released November 11, 2019. Compatibility update.
• Fusion Installer 3.8, released September 15, 2016. Improved downloading from Internet side, added official Windows 10 compatibility, and made it easier for Fusion Installer to notice when Fusion Server has a new version of Fusion Installer to upgrade to.
• Fusion Installer 3.7, released September 7, 2013. Fixed a bug in the Fix Client Resources function.
• Fusion Installer 3.6, released May 5, 2013. Fixed a bug in the Ping Test window.
• Fusion Installer 3.5, released April 22, 2013. Fusion Server can now be used as a source to make getting install files faster. Two network testing utilities were also added.
• Fusion Installer 3.1, released March 7, 2013. Windows 8 compatibility and minor bug fixes.
• Fusion Installer 3.0, released July 26, 2012. Install file corruption detection has been added. New utilities have been added. Downloads are more robust and you can handle multiple downloads and installs at the same time.
• Fusion Installer 2.1, released October 25, 2010. Auto upgrade bug fixes.
• Fusion Installer 2.0, released June 21, 2010. New look and feel and streamlined interaction. Handles auto upgrades better. Added several utilities for use with troubleshooting Fusion.

Symmetry

• Symmetry 1.6, released March 18, 2020. Rewrote all the CCIA communication code to work with their latest API. Fixed a bug that caused errors to not be emailed. Added Windows signing.
• Symmetry 1.5, released November 14, 2019. Updated Symmetry to ensure compatibility with current OSes. We also improved the error handling and made it so that Symmetry will automatically detect and apply updates in the future.
• Symmetry 1.4, released October 31, 2016. Made internal changes to Symmetry will continue to work with CCIA's recent server changes. Also fixed a bug where emailing errors wasn't working.
• Symmetry 1.3, released September 26, 2012. Added support for emailing multiple people when there are errors and other email related enhancements were the bulk of this upgrade.
