Fusion 3.6.1
Build Date: 2018-07-19
Changes
- The Location Edit window has a new checkbox labeled "Inventory-Only" Location. We will bill for only a portion of the headcount at these locations, but some of the features of Fusion cannot be used. For example, feeding and chuteside jobs are are not available to these kinds of locations.
Bug Fixes
- It wasn't possible to use the Simple In Cohort window to bring cattle into an empty pen. This is fixed.
- It wasn't possible to edit a cohort if a Job Stats window was open somewhere. This is fixed.
- Trying to insert a saved Lot Protocol Template in the Lot Edit window resulted in an error. This is fixed.
- Rearranging rows in the Advanced Print Definition window resulted in strange behavior. This is partially fixed. The rows are no longer messed up, but it isn't possible to manually rearrange the rows. This will be fixed in the next major version (the complete fix requires Fusion to be running in 64-bit mode). In the meantime, the best workaround is to delete a row and then re-add it in the spot you want it to be.
- An error occurred when trying to connect to NLIS servers. This was the result of Fusion requiring more stringent security connections. This is fixed by allowing the NLIS connection to downgrade to a less secure connection.
- Some customers have been experiencing issues with random crashes on truck and chuteside computers that are connected to certain graphic cards. Using Fusion in Windows 8 compatibility mode or downgrading the computer to Windows 7 or 8 resolved these issues. If you have a computer experiencing these issues, there is a temporary checkbox in the bottom right of the Physical Computer Management window labeled "Graphics Card Workaround". Checking this checkbox and relaunching Fusion on that computer should fix the issue. A full fix, which doesn't need the checkbox workaround, is coming in the next major version (the complete fix requires Fusion to be running in 64-bit mode).
- Unlinking animals when editing an in cohort resulted in an error when the cohort was saved. This is fixed.
- Fusion Client on the Mac stopped working for version 3.6. This is fixed.
- In the Scale Ticket edit window, if you enter a duplicate ticket number and then ask Fusion to open the duplicate, nothing happened. This is fixed.
- The amount of gallons of tempered water reported on the feedlot usage and similar reports will now be slightly more accurate for anything calculated after August 1, 2018. A bug caused this water amount to be a small percentage off. This is fixed. As fed and dry matter amounts of ingredients were not affected.
