Fusion 3.3

Build Date: 2016-05-09

New Features

  • Case #85 Fusion can now run in a special mode called Emergency Chuteside Mode if your network experiences trouble during a chuteside job. This mode requires Fusion Truck to be installed on the chuteside computer so it can take over and finish the job in this situation. In extreme situations where the network cannot be fixed for hours or days, it is also possible to shuffle jobs between an office and chuteside computer using USB drives. For detailed information, please see the new Emergency Chuteside Mode topic in the documentation (listed under Fusion Chuteside → Jobs).
  • Case #107 In the not to distant future, Fusion will only run on 64-bit versions of Windows or Macs. All computers should already be using 64-bit operating systems, but Fusion now checks to see if this the case when it is launched and will warn you if the computer has not been upgraded yet. You can also see each computer's status in the Computers window, although this information defaults to 32-bit until Fusion 3.3 has been launched on that computer.
  • Case #9 Fusion can now detect when Windows is trying to shut down and will automatically quit as quickly as possible. If this happens with Fusion Server, Fusion Server will automatically be relaunched when Windows restarts. This means it is now possible to allow your server to automatically apply Windows updates. However, we highly recommend that you set the server to only apply updates after 3:00 a.m. so that it the computer isn't restarted during the backup or nightly calculation phases.

Bug Fixes

  • Case #105 It was possible for Fusion to process iFHMS files before a location was properly transitioned. This is fixed.
