Ingredient Attributes List Window

This window is where a history of commodity/ingredient attributes changes are listed.

This window has the following menu buttons available. (See the List Windows topic to learn more about list windows in general.)

  • New. Use this function to create a new attribute for the ingredient. If you are making several changes at the same time, it is faster to use the Bulk Attribute Change window.
  • Edit. Use this function to make changes to the attribute. Please note that if you make changes for an attribute in the past, any reports that are regenerated that were based on the attribute value will be different!
  • Delete. Use this function to delete the attribute. Please note that the same result is true for deleting as editing an attribute!
  • Advanced Find. For finding information within the list. See Advanced Find Window for more information.
  • Advanced Sort. For sorting the list. See Advanced Sort Window for more information.
  • Advanced Print. For printing information from the list. See Advanced Print Window for more information.

You can open this window by going to Fusion Core → Attributes → List Ingredient Attributes.

List Description

This list shows the changes in commodity/ingredient attributes (Bill At, Cost, etc.) over time. Each time Fusion runs a report with pricing information involved, it will use the information in this list to figure out what price applies for each item at each location on any particular day as it calculates the pricing information. These records should never be deleted unless an actual mistake is being corrected!

Field Display Speed Description
Ingredient Normal The name of the ingredient whose attribute is being changed.
Location Normal The location this attribute change applies to. Each location has its own pricing attributes.
Change Date Normal The date this change is effective for. You can only change a item's attribute once per day (for a given location).
Changed Attribute Normal This is the attribute that is being changed. Cost (your cost of the item), Bill At (what you charge customers for the item), Market Value (can be used in inventory reports to reflect the current market value of the item), DM (the new dry matter of the ingredient which is used with ration formulas), NEM and NEG (used with NRC equations for calculating weight gain), Protein (for informational purposes only), and Temper With (to attach the ingredient to a water meter for tempering).
New Value Normal The value that takes affect on that date.
Value Units Normal This field shows the units for the value.
Note Normal The change can have an associated note if desired which will show here.
