With each ration version you can specify an optimum number of cycles that the load should be mixed. Depending on how you've set up the mix timer in the Physical Computer Management Window, a cycle might mean one second or one revolution of the mixer in the truck. This window helps you mix each ration in the most optimum way.
The Mix Timer window will not appear at all if the Mix Timer checkbox in the Physical Computer Management window is not turned on. |
The Timer window opens automatically when you are ready to add the first ingredient of a load. The window has two modes it can run in, based on the Physical Computer Management settings:
When you turn the mixer off, click the Finished button and the timer will saved the cycle count with the load and close the window. However, this button can't be used while the load is still being mixed. Make sure you wait until the Mix New Load window has been closed before clicking the Finish button. If you are in "Seconds" mode in this situation you can pause the counter while waiting until you can click the Finish button.
If the ration on the truck is set up to not be mixed, this window will automatically close when the Mix Load window is closed.
The background of the window will be green until there are only five cycles left. It will then begin flashing red and yellow to get your attention. Once the counter goes below zero, it will stay red.
You can move the window to a new position by dragging anywhere in the top half of the window. Fusion remembers where you positioned the window when the Mix Load window was opened and when the Bunk Call/Feed Delivery window was opened. It will also reposition the Timer window when switching between these windows. This way you can find the best place for the Timer window in both situations.
