Simple In Cohort Window

This window is a simplified version of the In Cohort Edit that should be used a chuteside for quick entry. The In Cohort Edit window can then be used by office staff to supply other values. This window is also optimized for entry on a touch screen.

The fields in this window are briefly described below, but we encourage you to be familiar with In Cohort Edit Window which describes them in more detail.

  • Identifier. Fusion supplies a default identifier, but you can change it if you need to.
  • Initial Pen. Enter the pen the animals are initially going into.
  • Lot. If you know the lot the animals are going into, enter it here. Otherwise, leave it blank.
  • In Count. Enter the count of animals in the group.
  • Pay Weight. Enter the total weight of the animals. If you don't know this value, it is important to give the best estimate you can as it has future ramifications.
  • Linked Animals. You can link animals with this button, if you like.
  • Manifest Number. You can enter a manifest number here.
  • Note. You can enter a note here.

Click the Save button to save this in cohort. Or, if you have changed your mind, click the Cancel button.

You can open this window by going to Fusion Core → Cohorts → Simple New In Cohort or, more commonly, Fusion Chuteside Main Menu → Create In Cohort.
