List Description

With Fusion you define your own list of drugs and implants that can be given to animals. This is where they are listed.

Field Display Speed Description
Drug Name Normal This is the name of the drug.
Family Normal You can put drugs in drug families if you like. When choosing a drug elsewhere in Fusion, you can often choose a drug family first to narrow down the drug list before choosing a drug.
Default Billing Category Normal When Fusion creates reports for drug usage, is can roll up the results of individual drugs into categories. This field is the default billing category for the drug. This means that if the drug is used in some context, and the billing category isn't overriden by another mechanism (ex. assigned a specific category with a chuteside job), then this will be the category used for the drug event. Note that it is possible for the same drug to be assigned different billing categories for different drug events.
Units Normal This field is the units the drug is expected to be given in. Make sure you choose "Implant" for implants as this is how Fusion knows to treat implants differently in some circumstances.
Dosage Amount Normal Dosage is usually defined as so many units per some weight of the animal. This field shows the number of units part of the equation.
Dosage Per Weight Normal This field shows the "per weight" part of the dosage formula. For example, if you were to give 3 cc per 100 lbs, this field would be 100. If the dosage is not dependant on the animal's weight, leave this field at zero.
Dosage Formula Normal This field shows the full dosage formula. It is mainly for display and printing purposes.
Withdrawal Days Normal This field shows the number of days the animal will have a withdrawal after receiving this drug. Leave it at zero if there drug doesn't have a withdrawal. Note that if you make a mistake and change the withdrawal time for a drug after the fact, you may want to ask Fusion to recalculate withdrawal times for animals already given the drug.
Administration Route Normal This field reminds you how the drug should be adminstered to the animal.
Note Normal You can make a note about the drug here.
Current Cost Very Slow Shows the current cost of this drug. Fusion calculates this value on the fly and does so for the location and date currently specified in the saved variables SSGi_AttributeLocation and SSGi_AttributeDate which you can change.
Current Bill At Very Slow Shows the current bill at price of this drug. Fusion calculates this value on the fly and does so for the location and date currently specified in the saved variables SSGi_AttributeLocation and SSGi_AttributeDate which you can change.
