Fusion 4.9 is ready, with new ways to plan groups of cattle within a lot, build more realistic projections, and handle more day-to-day work from Fusion Anywhere. Here are a few highlights.
Animals in the same lot do not always follow the same plan. New Lot Groups let you organize cattle as Lights, Mediums, Heavies, or any groups that fit your operation, then give each group its own target ship date or weight and protocol work. Billing, ownership, closeout, and inventory stay together at the lot level.
This gives your team a clearer plan for different groups of cattle without splitting one lot into several.
The Projections Calculator now does more of the setup work and makes it easier to explore different feeding periods. It supports purchase and sale prices per unit, yardage per head day, better adjustments from historical values, and a Days on Feed slider that recalculates the projection while keeping key assumptions anchored. Death loss is also handled more appropriately in cost and profit calculations.
Together, these changes give you a more practical starting point and a faster way to compare scenarios.
Fusion 4.9 also expands the day-to-day work available to authorized Fusion Anywhere users. You can now enter in-pen treatments, review Daily Load, Pen, and Usage synopses, and edit lots, arrivals, deaths, and shipments from a phone, tablet, or laptop.
Lot Groups and projection improvements are only part of this release. Read the full Fusion 4.9 release notes for details about carcass-adjusted values, Lot Info Export controls and speed, Scale House improvements, chuteside lookup, bug fixes, and more.
