It can be useful to categorize your cattle by their breed. In Fusion, you define your own custom list of breeds which can then be assigned to lots and, optionally, individual cattle.
In the Fusion Setup Assistant window, ensure the Animal Breeds section is selected, and then click on the 'Open Animal Breeds Window' button. Alternatively, you can access this window through the Setup menu with the Fusion Admin menu bar active.
To create a new breed, click the "New" button, give it a name, and hit "Save." Then repeat the process until you've completed your list.
