Lot Group Animal Assignment Window

Use this window from a lot's Lot Edit window to review and stage animal assignments to its lot groups. It does not save the assignments by itself; the changes are saved when you save the lot.

Finding Animals

• Lot Group. Choose All Groups, No Group, or one group to focus the list. The list immediately reflects assignments changed in this window.
• Status. Choose current animals, non-current animals, or both. Non-current animals may retain their last assignment so you can see the full group context.

Changing Assignments

Select one or more animals, then click Change Group. Choose a group to put every selected animal in that group, or choose No Group to clear their assignments. An animal can belong to only one lot group at a time.

Use the columns to confirm IDs, current status, weights, pens, and other animal details before making a change. You can change filters and make more assignments until you are done.

Click Done when you are ready to return to Lot Edit. Closing this window or using Control-W (Command-W on Mac) has the same result: it keeps the staged changes in Lot Edit. To save them, click Save in Lot Edit; use Lot Edit's Cancel button if you want to discard all staged lot and group changes.

Open the Lot Edit window, select the Lot Groups tab, select a group, then click Change....
