Input Inventory Offset List Window

This window is where any manually created inventory offsets for inputs are listed.

This window has the following menu buttons available. (See the List Windows topic to learn more about list windows in general.)

  • New. Use this function to create a new offset.
  • Edit. Use this function to make changes to the offset.
  • Delete. Use this function to delete the offset.
  • Advanced Find. For finding information within the list. See Advanced Find Window for more information.
  • Advanced Sort. For sorting the list. See Advanced Sort Window for more information.
  • Advanced Print. For printing information from the list. See Advanced Print Window for more information.

You can open this window by going to Fusion Core → Inventory → List Input Offsets.

List Description

An inventory offset is a way of manually adjusting inventory levels for an item. This might be used to simply make an adjustment or to record inventory coming in or leaving in ways that Fusion doesn't automatically know about.

Field Display Speed Description
Input Name Normal The name of the item whose inventory is being changed.
Date Normal The date of the change.
Location Normal The location of the change. Inventory levels are kept track of seperately for each location.
Offset Type Normal Will be Adjustment, Arriving, or Leaving depending on what kind of adjustment you are making. An Adjustment should be used when you measure actual inventory levels and need to adjust up or down. The other two should be used when new inventory is coming into the location or leaving the location in ways that Fusion isn't already recording.
Quantity Normal The amount of change in inventory.
Linked Contact Normal This field stores a contact if you want to link the offset to the person you purchased from or sold to.
Override Cost? Normal Normally Fusion will assume the same price as set up in the attributes area of Fusion for the amount in question, but if you override the cost for this offset, this will be "Yes".
Overriden Cost Normal If the cost is overriden, this is the total dollar figure.
Override Market Value? Normal Normally Fusion will assume the same price as set up in the attributes area of Fusion for the amount in question, but if you override the market value for this offset, this will be "Yes".
Overriden Market Value Normal If the market value is overriden, this is the total dollar figure.
Override Bill At? Normal Normally Fusion will assume the same price as set up in the attributes area of Fusion for the amount in question, but if you override the bill at for this offset, this will be "Yes".
Overriden Bill At Normal If the bill at value is overriden, this is the total dollar figure.
Note Normal You can record a note for the offset giving more details if you like.
Units Normal The units of the item being offset.
