FRM Status WIndow

If you use FRM at any of your locations, first follow the instructions for setting things up in the Preferences Window and become familiar with the restrictions necessary for this integration. Once Fusion is processing FRM events, the FRM Status window becomes useful for checking the status and dealing with errors.

Fusion looks for new FRM events to process approximately every minute. The process it follows is to cycle through each FRM location and process all events the queue. If there is a communication error during one of these processing cycles, it is terminated and you'll see the error at the top of this window. On the other hand, if a non-communication error happens while processing a location, only processing for that location will be terminated while other locations will continue to be processed.

When a location has an error, it will be displayed in this window. Selecting the location in the list will cause additional details to be shown in the bottom half of the window, when applicable. For certain kinds of errors you will need to manually fix something in Fusion before the error can go away. For example, you might not have a lot named the same in both FRM and Fusion. If necessary, use the Pause Processing checkbox for the location to stop processing and to allow Fusion features that are normally turned off (ex. creating in cohorts) to be available while you fix the issue. Once the issue has been fixed, turn off the checkbox to allow processing to continue. You may also need to use the Retry Event button, depending on the type of error.

If the error is the result of a lot or pen name not being correct, make sure you correct this in Fusion, not FRM. At this point FRM has already committed the information under its lot or pen name and won't create another event after you change it there.

Sometimes you won't want Fusion to process the event that caused the error because of the way you manually fixed it. In those cases, use the Skip Event button instead.

This window isn't meant to continuously and automatically refresh its information. Use the Refresh button whenever you want the window to refresh.
