If you are just starting to use Fusion, you should make sure that, at the very least, you have set up your preferences, locations, and trucks before trying to use Fusion Truck. At this point you won't be able to use the entire functionality of Fusion Truck, but you will be able to test that it communicates with Fusion Server and that it works with the scale system and other hardware in the truck. You can also use it as a dumb scale system until transition day. After the transition, Fusion Truck will be fully operable.
When you first launch Fusion Truck, you will be shown the Full Sync window. See Full Sync Window to learn what to do at this point.
After you have synchronized for the first time, open the Physical Computer Management window to set up the scale system and other hardware on the truck (see Physical Computer Management Window). Then, if you have already transitioned you will be able to use Fusion Truck in a normal way.
If you haven't transitioned and need to use Fusion Truck as a dumb scale system for a while, choose Fusion Truck Main Menu → Options → Scale System—Weigh to turn on the scale system. When you are finished for the day you can choose Fusion Truck Main Menu → Options → Scale System—Off or simply Fusion Truck Main Menu → Quit.
