Yard Sheet Reports

This window gives you access to built-in yard sheets. If these don't fit your needs, you can use the Advanced Print functionality to create your own.

The first step in using this window is to choose the location you wish to print for. From there you'll choose which report you want to use, as described below.

Yard sheets typically combine information that belongs to pens and lots together. In the case where multiple lots are in the same pen, Fusion will determine which is considered the principle lot. Any columns that have lot based data will come from the principle lot. It is important to understand that principle lot data is for the entire lot, not just the portion of the lot in this pen.

Yard Sheet A

This yard sheet is meant to be a simple, nutrition based report with few enough columns to be printed on paper. There are no options for this report, so you only need to click the Print button. It should be printed in landscape mode and Fusion will try to ensure that happens.

Only non-empty pens will be included in this report and they will be printed in drive order. Keep in mind that it is possible for a pen to have animals in it that aren't yet assigned to a lot. In that case all the lot based columns will be blank.

Here is a list of columns that will be printed:

  • Pen. The name of the pen.
  • Lot(s). The name of the lot if there is only one lot in the pen. Otherwise the principle lot is printed first followed by the other lots in descending order by head count. Each lot's head count portion in the pen is printed after the lot in parenthesis.
  • Originating Herd. The originating herd of the principle lot.
  • Head Count. The current head count in the pen.
  • Sex. The sex of the principle lot.
  • In Weight. The average in weight of the principle lot. Overriden and pre-Fusion values are taken into account if applicable.
  • Current Weight. The current average weight of the pen.
  • In Date. The first in date (not average in date) of the principle lot.
  • Estimated Slaughter Date. The estimated slaughter date of the principle lot.
  • Current Protocol. The current feeding protocol assigned the pen. The current step is printed in parenthesis.
  • Current Ration. The current ration assigned the pen.
  • Days on Feed. Calculated as the current date minus the average in date of the principle lot + 1 which gives the days on feed for the principle lot.
  • Days on Step/Ration. If the pen is assigned a feeding protocol, this column will show the number of days the pen has been on the current protocol step (excluding days where the protocol was suspended). Otherwise it will show the number of days it has been on the current ration.
  • 7 Day Bunk Call Avg. The average bunk call over the last 7 days. The pen thread is followed here, so if the animals were moved between pens that will be taken into account in the same way that bunk call graphs are built.
  • 3 Day Bunk Call Avg. The average bunk call over the last 3 days, also following the pen thread.
  • Current Bunk Call. The current bunk call assigned the pen.
  • Dry Matter Intake as Percent of Body Weight. The current dry matter intake as a percentage of body weight for the pen. Based on the current bunk call for today.

Yard Sheet B

This yard sheet starts with the same columns as Yard Sheet A and then expands on them. Many of the added columns show health based information. There are too many columns to be suitable for a printed report, so it is generated as a CSV file which can be opened with any spreadsheet application such as Excel.

Some general information regarding diagnoses and treatments in the pen are provided. In addition, you can choose two custom diagnoses and Fusion will calculate the total count, total percentage, and last seven days percentage for each of them. These can be chosen by selecting them in the Diagnosis A and Diagnosis B fields. Fusion will remember which diagnoses were chosen for the logged in user for the next time the report is used.

Click the Export button to generate the report. You'll be asked to choose where the file will be saved.

Only non-empty pens will be included in this report and they will be exported in drive order. Keep in mind that it is possible for a pen to have animals in it that aren't yet assigned to a lot. In that case all the lot based columns will be blank.

Here is a list of columns that will be exported:

  • Pen. The name of the pen.
  • Lot(s). The name of the lot if there is only one lot in the pen. Otherwise the principle lot is exported first followed by the other lots in descending order by head count. Each lot's head count portion in the pen is exported after the lot in parenthesis.
  • In Date. The first in date (not average in date) of the principle lot.
  • Estimated Slaughter Date. The estimated slaughter date of the principle lot.
  • Sex. The sex of the principle lot.
  • Originating Herd. The originating herd of the principle lot.
  • Buyer. The buyer for the principle lot. This comes directly from the lot's Buyer field.
  • In Count. The in count of the principle lot. Overriden and pre-Fusion values are taken into account if applicable.
  • Current Count. The current head count in the pen.
  • In Weight. The average in weight of the principle lot. Overriden and pre-Fusion values are taken into account if applicable.
  • In Shrink. The average shrinkage of the principle lot's in cohorts. In cohorts with a shrinkage of 0% are not included in the average.
  • Current Weight. The current average weight of the pen.
  • Dead Count. The dead count of the principle lot. Overriden and pre-Fusion values are taken into account if applicable
  • Dead Percent. Calculated as the dead count ÷ in count * 100.
  • Current In Treatment. The number of animals associated with the principle lot that currently have an In Treatment field value of true.
  • All First Pulls Count. The total number of first pull diagnoses associated with the principle lot.
  • All First Pulls Percent. Calculated as All First Pulls Count ÷ In Count * 100.
  • All Second Pulls Count. The total number of second pull diagnoses associated with the principle lot.
  • All Second Pulls Percent. Calculated as All Second Pulls Count ÷ All First Pulls Count * 100.
  • All Diagnosis Count. The total number of diagnoses (any pull) associated with the principle lot.
  • All Diagnosis Percent. Calculated as All Diagnosis Count ÷ In Count * 100.
  • Diagnosis A Total Count. The total number of the chosen diagnosis events in the principle lot.
  • Diagnosis A Total Percent. Calculated as Diagnosis A Total Count ÷ In Count * 100.
  • Diagnosis A 7 Day Percent. The percentage of the chosen diagnosis events in the past week. Calculated as this diagnosis count in past 7 days ÷ In Count * 100.
  • Diagnosis B Total Count. Same as Diagnosis A Total Count, but for the second custom diagnosis.
  • Diagnosis B Total Percent. Same as Diagnosis A Total Percent, but for the second custom diagnosis.
  • Diagnosis B 7 Day Percent. Same as Diagnosis A 7 Day Percent, but for the second custom diagnosis.
  • Cull Count. The number of animal's out cohorted from the principle lot where the Out Reason is "Cull".
  • Treatment Drugs/Head. This is the average dollars billed for drugs in treatment subjobs. When the report is generated, the principle lot's last generated closeout information is looked up. Usually this will be from the previous midnight, but you may have manually generated it since then. This value is the same one as found in the Drug Usage area of the Lot Center window detail pane. It is from the italicized line labeled "Treatment Only" and from the "Billing/Animal" column.
  • Other Drugs/Head. This value comes in the same way as the Treatment Drugs/Head column does, except it is based on the boldfaced "Total" line. Fusion uses that and then subtracts the "Treatment Only" line so that this value represents all the drugs given the animals except those associated with a treatment subjob.
  • Current Protocol. The current feeding protocol assigned the pen. The current step is exported in parenthesis.
  • 14 Day Bunk Call Avg. The average bunk call over the last 14 days. The pen thread is followed here, so if the animals were moved between pens that will be taken into account in the same way that bunk call graphs are built.
  • 7 Day Bunk Call Avg. The average bunk call over the last 7 days, also following the pen thread.
